Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Foundation! My Starting Point and First Impressions!

My journey into makeup all began with me looking up reviews on YouTube for a full coverage liquid foundation that would work with my skin type. I kept hearing and listening to rave reviews about Kat Von D's line and began looking into her foundation and couldn't wait to try it out! Here I will be talking about my first impressions of Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Foundation!!!

First of all, I wanted to say that I seriously had no idea how amazing a full coverage foundation would look on my face! I bought Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Foundation in Light 44 and was stunned! O___O

About two months ago...

The picture above is from the first time that I used the foundation...I couldn't stop looking in the mirror! I was so used to seeing red blotches and even some noticeable imperfections like pimples, but the Lock It Tattoo Foundation completely covers everything! It's amazing!!!

To apply it, I used the Pro Flawless Airbrush #56 from the Sephora Collection Pro Flawless Airbrush set! First, I apply my primer (Makeup Forever HD) and then I squeeze only one pump of the foundation on the top of my hand and dot it all over my face with my finger. Then I use the brush to spread the foundation all over my face and neck and voila!

Because the coverage is so full and matte, I always use my blush and bronzer to add more dimension to my face! Also, this foundation dries pretty quickly so make sure that you blend it onto your face quickly!

It's so exciting to see what full coverage foundations can do! The foundation was so creamy and seemed a bit heavy on my hand, but after application, I noticed how light it felt! I love this foundation!!!

It's a bit dark :P

Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Foundation has truly revolutionized my face and has changed how I perceive make up. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants full coverage, a long lasting foundation, and and overall flawless and very matte look!

This is just the beginning of my life long journey through cosmetics! You always have to start somewhere! ^-^
